Took both boys to the Epworth Open Show today.
First class was Basil in the Working Hunter Pony - I took ages to decide if I was going to enter him in this and trying to decide if he was up to it or not, but eventually decided to let him have a go and retire if he didn't feel right.
So I warmed him up
And after a tack malfunction (too tight curb chain) caused this (we did clear it!!)
All was sorted.
Unfortunately no full video of my jumping round as i'd sent Nic to get his rug just as I was called in. So just the last fence.

Then we did the individual show and went round together.

Waiting to be called out.
And we won!!!
Super speedy lap of honour!!
We lost our rosette
Kisses for my good boy
Apologies for the silly grin
2nd class - My mum took Basil in the In-hand veteran
Unfortunately at this point it was hailing so Basil wasn't best impressed!!
We still came 3rd!!
3rd class - Oscar in the Novice SJ
He was an absolute twit and went through the first fence.
Got 4f!!

4th Class - Oscar did Handy Equine (unfortunately no more pics as my photographer had disappeared)
We had to:
Move a silly jingly hat from one post to another
Unpeg washing from a washing line and re=peg it on the other side.
Walk over a tarpaulin on the floor
Weave through a bendy course of yellow hazard tape on poles
Open and close a gate
Jump a small jump with numbers on it
Unhook a plastic bag of rubbish from a coat hanger and put it in a bin
We came second!!
(I think we should have won, the person who won had 4 go's at the course and they used his best time!!:rant
5th Class - Oscar in Intermediate horse (again no photographer)
He jumped alot better in this class and I was really pleased with him - but we knocked the 1st fence down again for 4f!!
So a good day in total!!
