It should be arrive special delivery today before 1pm! Really hope it fits, we’re off to hydro again this evening. Imagine being excited about a dog cost, how sad is that?!

I had the same issue with my puppy’s measurements not coming up with anything so bought one based on her length and went for skinny fit. It was comically short on her so either she got 6 inches longer in the time it took to arrive or I failed spectacularly at measuring her!

So, I think it’s too long. It’s covering all his boy bits, and we had to wrinkle it up along his back, so that he could reach under with his back legs properly, without getting snarled up. It’s also well down his tail, which I don’t mind in terms of coverage, but he needs freedom of movement (and wee!) elsewhere more.

There’s also no much give to the fleece - it’s very thick and feels like great quality. When we actually got it on, it’s a very close fit, which I imagine will be brilliant for drying him off. But it was far too difficult for both of us to wrestle his head and front legs in and then out again.

We will definitely need a full length zip put in, but this size is tight through the neck already, and so wouldn’t suit a zip.

I’m going to email off these pics, remeasure, and hopefully get more advice. Then defluff and send it back.

Poor dog does put up with a lot!

I have found them very helpful. My old JRT had been on steroids and did not fit any standard coats. They called me and asked what breed she was and was I sure my measurements were correct! They were indeed correct she was just a very square shape following the steroids. She ended up in a "pug" coat that fitted beautifully until she returned to her normal shape. A small child asked at the time "why is your dogs head too small for its body". She was right! OH told her the head was fine but the body was too big for the head .
