Does anyone know the starch and protein levels? It says low starch but thats about all I can find, and how low is low :)
Thanks for any replies

I was told is was 10% starch.

I feed a 2cups a day to my PPiD cereal intolerant veteran and he has not reacted to it. I am well below the recommended amount for a 500kg native cross. It has helped put good weight on him without sending him off his head or triggering his intolerance.

What are you looking to use it for? I was feeding three cups a day as feeding four feeds and he was still fine on it.

Ive been feeding it to my 3 yr old as I dont think she knew what a bucket feed was before and was turning her nose up at everything, plus she was looking very lean. She loves it but its coming up to backing time and a friend who also feeds it to an older horse just mentioned how his behaviour had improved so much since stopping it. He is a childs pony, quite sensitive and had turned into a OMG theres monsters everywhere. Whether that was lack of turnout or feed I dont know but thought it worth asking.

I haven’t noticed any change in my horses behaviour at all. He is a Welsh d x and full of cheek at times. I find it a good feed. Mixes you will find will be full of crap and make them hyper, I’d stay away from cereals if you can. If she is eating it and you are having no issues and results then I wouldn’t change it just because of what someone else has said. People say their horse goes daft on alfalfa, mine doesn’t so I feed it as I find it good for weight gain and protein for my old boy :)

Thank you, she gets adlib haylage and I was struggling to find something she liked feed wise. After trial an error, she likes Baileys Fibre Nuggets, the Equerry and any sort of chaff, probably not the best combination lol but Im trying to keep it fibre based. She also gets Formula for Feet as she has typical TB feet :( but this is like a balancer so probably not a bad thing. Our turnout has been limited recently due to the awful wet weather, the fields now a bog and its so hard as I cant really do much with her yet being unbacked, so just not wanting to be feeding anything that could make her fizzy.
