Does anyone remember playing this game?
I loooved it! I found it today, so I'm going to re-install and have a gallop about when I get home from work :D haha!

Omg I did the exact same thing about a month ago! Amazing! Was so much fun! The courses werent as long as id remembered though. I have all the cheats if u want them (I'm a total loser) lol :D
 
Used to annoy me how high the horses went over the jumps tho.

Went I went back on it a few weeks ago after years and years I thought it was quite nostalgic looking at all the old big names and their horses on it - but equally a lot of them are still going now!
 
I LOVED riding star! I remember trying to give him a good amount of turn out lol! Id leave the pc running for hours XD
Someone broke my disk though :-( thoroughly upset!
 
Yes, also had riding star on the archaic PC we had back then. My over-riding memory was that sometimes the background music was the same as the theme used on All creatures great and small.
 
I remember the old man who used to say 'he's a grand oss that, just like his parents were....' when u went to get it out of the stable or something. My disk got broken too but I bet it wouldnt work on a newer pc anyway :(

Oh my god that brought back memories!! Haha, I said it in his voice in my head.

I can't get them to play on my new laptop :(

Also had riding star , and golden horseshoes or something like that? Got stuck at that though!

There were a few others aswell, can't think of the names though. You owned the yard and you had to bring it back up to scratch and by training your horses you got money to do up the yard and went to bigger competitions. Anyone know?

I know exactly what you mean, just had a google, The Legacy of Rosemond Hill? It used to drive me mad that the horses gallop was so slow when I wanted to get to town.

ive just got into that as well, i've just reached level 9 lol.

i had a game where u had a farm that u had to do up, it was the first pippa funnell game, riding farm inheritance or sumthing like that?? i agree with the slow gallop, it used to run out of energy so fast and u had to wait ages till it wasnt tired anymore, grrr :)
 
It was the pippa funnel game! Really like that too.

I've heard of the legacy of rosemond hill, I think I might have had that one too!
 
Actually re the pippa funnel one, I remember some snooty guy was trying to build an apartment or something and you had to go and stop him from doing it :p
 
Ive not had that, but I do remember Mary King riding star! :D :D I now have an apple mac air so not a chance in heck of playing it but that has brought back memories :D.
 
wow, what a childhood i must have had - i've had every single one of those and more!! my brother and i spent months trying to work out a racing one called starters orders :o

Memories! I remember calling the horse in the field: 'Starrrrr.....come on Star!!'
Nah, I also used to try and give it as much turnout as poss!

I also played the Pippa Funnel games, so sad :o
 
Still have Riding Star but dont play it any more can remember the "this is such a class horse" despite the bloomin thing having refused about 4 times!

Also remember the Barbie one but I sold that a while ago.

I have the Pippa Funnell ones but they wont work any more :(

Know its not horsey but anyone remember the Spyro the dragon games they used to frustrate me so much!!
