Following a spate of posts ostensibly for research relating to student dissertations/courses/modules/etc., that were found to be initiated for commercial purposes, HHO reserve the right to remove without notice any unsolicited posts/threads we feel abuse the hospitality of the forum (whether on-forum or via PM) and terminate any account so associated..

For commercial research IPC Media Ltd can provide partner access to our mass market brands - and a user base that have expressed a preference to taking part in such research and surveys.

In any event, we consider it to be a common courtesy to at least enquire, if not seek permission, before using a private resource for any sort of research or solicitation of the membership of that resource. As such, bona fide academic research may be entertained, but while an application to conduct research on-forum would be welcomed it does not necessarily guarantee access to the forum or it's membership.


If I were you I would ask TFC so to save you any problems.

Who is the fat controller? thank you for your advice I assumed it would be ok as I used HH for my previous dissertation a year ago :)
