Do you buy horsey books?

Do you think there are gaps for books that are currently not covered?

I have some very much loved bibles but I have not come across anything like them since and would love it if they were updated! Just wondering if other people feel the same?

Has anyone read the Eliza Randall one or Jo Maynard? Just wondering what the views were on these?

I have certain books that I really like/have found very useful :) I do still buy the odd one, I'd like to see more for the Kindle. My favourite ones have to be my Enlightened Equitation book, the 2 I have by Carl Hester, Pippa Funnell's 'Training The Young Horse', How Your Horse Moves, and 'The Twisted Truths of Modern Dressage' by Philippe Karl. There's also a book that mostly focuses on XC, by William Fox-Pitt I think? (lots of photos, only ever read a tiny bit in the shop!!) which looks great.

Can you tell I like books with pictures? :p I have some more wordy ones but I can only read small sections at once with those :o I love '101 Schooling Exercises' but wish it was in a more portable form tbh!!

Seems your wish has been granted! I bought it as an app on my iPhone. Can flick through the exercises on your phone. Not sure if available as an android app too if you're not a iPhone user

Im a book addict. Read about 5-6 a week if I can get hold of them. I love my 'training the young horse' by Reiner Klimke. Id like to see more books that cover the basics but in a clear way, several popular ones that Ive tried I just couldnt get anything out of. Ive been riding for 40 years and am a judge but I still like my books to be concise and accessible.

Real dearth of good equestrian fiction also, especially that which isnt 'dumbed down'.

Id love Carl to write his autobiography if theres anything you can do about that?

I'm still on an ancient old phone - you know, the kind that does texts, calls & takes the odd photo?! :p And I can actually use with my gloves on! hehe. Sounds like a good idea though. I just refuse to trade in my phone with real buttons, just in case I ever actually have to call 999 or something  Last time I tried to use a touch screen in what could have been an emergency, it took about 10mins for us to call the wrong person :o Crisis averted by the time (2 of us) got close to calling the right number! I may just be useless though :D
