hi Everyone,

has anyone used equestrian clearance sales before?? not equestrian clearance that has a blue website. Equestrian Clearance Sales has a red website??

I ordered a couple of things from them on Monday and tried ringing them yesterday to see what was happening with them - there was no answer. I ahve tried their website again but it says it may be harmful to my computer and have emailed them yesterday with no answer - any ideas?

Thanks

Rachel

Gosh that is scary. Never heard of them actually until reading your post. I have also just tried looking for them and got same message. Did you get an email with a reference number for your order. Can you email them back (Sometimes you cant reply on the emails) or get an address to try find a phone number? Very worrying - hope you get it sorted.

God don't say that, i ordered with them for the first time wed night, for stuff desperately needed, really hope i get the stuff by tomorrow!!
Does anyone know if i can return my stuff if it doesnt come in time? In case i need to buy replacements?

Great, now i've been told. Gah dunno what to do, thought EQ were quite a reputable company? Really hope noone has managed to get my bloody card details, although i paid by credit card so hopefully it'll be covered with insurance?

equestrian clearance is well established and reputable.

equestrian clearance sales is another company entirely.

if you paid with credit card, you should be covered.

I think, if it's the place i'm thinking of... they've got an actual tack shop nr Scunthorpe, perhaps at the address above. I been in there once or twice. Might be worth trying to track them down...

Just found this old thread, this is my local tack shop and the website has been hacked.

Kath the owner is lovely, as is Lisa who works for her,and she is the most helpful and friendly tack shop owner that I know. The shop's phone number is 01724 784423.

I have a few websites myself and have been hacked a few times

It can be a real PINA to put right and maybe their emails have been redirected? I think that they only take PayPal payments? If so the whole payment process is securely hosted on PayPal's website and the only things that any hackers can get a hold of is your email address and possibly your phone no & addy, depending on their database.
