Equestrian courses at uni

Hi does anyone know any good universities that do equestrian courses...like equestrian psychology etc......aaaand also does anyone know any equestrian establishments in north yorkshire that i could do work experience at? Thanks

Bristol and University of the West of England (Hartpury College) have the best reputations for equine degrees. Their standards are higher than many others and a qualification from either is held in high regard.

Aberystwyth has a great reputation and is not as "elitist" as some other establishments

Did a BSc at Hartpury and it is widely acknowledged as the best in the country for equine courses as said plus has first class yard and facilities

I went to Brackenhurst in Nottingham as this does an equine psychology and sport science degree. Was very interesting if this is what you're into.

These are the ones I know of, although not sure who does what, I went to Hartpury and not sure if they do a psychology course, but I have just graduated and the courses are changing all the time so there may be one or similar now.
Hartpury
Warwickshire
Bishop Burton
Aberystwyth
Also Duchy College (although I don't know much about this one)
Hadlow (quite small)
Think your decision depends on what sort of environment etc you want to be in, but the best thing to do is research eah place and course heavily before you start making a decision, and visit the ones you are more interested in, thats the only way to know for definate you are making the right choice.
