Hello

I have found a horsebox

and am now looking for insurance. I have always insured with NFU but have had a much cheaper quote from Equestrian Insurance and wondered if anyone knew anything about them.

Thanks!

How funny i've just been searching for insurance for my new horse and found this company on a google search. The quote was very good but I was a bit worried about going with a company that I've never heard of so ended up with Petplan. TBH they weren't that much more expensive really and offered more with the policy!!!

That's the problem - the quote seems too good and I have never heard of them.

However, I am sharing the horsebox with a friend - and we have both got quotes. Mine is from NFU and I am happy with it and the Horsebox Recovery bit. Hers is from Equestrian Insurance - and I am worried that it won't be as good.

Anyone else insured anything with them?

Have a look at Anthony D Evans Insurance for Horsebox & Recovery. You can get a quote on line in moments, loads of forum members have their boxes insured with this company. I've had to call them out once for a recovery problem & it was sorted out quickly & efficiently...I've not had an insurance claim yet though.

Hiya

Yes - I did see that - and they told me the same thing yesterday when I spoke to them. I would like to stay with them but the price was £100 more and my friend wants to go with the cheaper company.
