Equestrian Libraries?

Hey all,

Does anyone know of any equestrian libraries on the internet? I would love to be able to just borrow books without having to buy them as they are so expensive! Local libraries just dont have good selections of equine books at all!

Or i suppose even a good online equestrian book store??

Amazon sells second hand books. Put in the title you want and it will show what second hand ones are available.

yea i know about amazon..was just wondering was there one specifically for equine books!

not actually sure of what i want to be honest...just wanted to browse!

but i am interested on books on sports massage for horses and biomechanics and stuff like that as im an qualified sports masseur myself..

My old uni had a fabulous library full of horse books on all sorts of things. I don't know if they let non students in (probably don't) but if you're anywhere near brackenhurst in notts it might be worth asking? (loads on sports massage, biomechanics and stuff there too).

im actually in northern ireland! the equine college i went to over here also had a library full of great books as well but dont think i am able to lend from there anymore as no longer a student!

will have a look on bhs website!

Most university libraries allow you to apply for and hold a library card as an alumni.

Worth asking if you still live close enough to use it.
