My career with horses spans fifty years and it all began with H&H. I am now retired from my horse duties writing and narrating my poems about my time with horses from my home here in Nova Scotia, Canada. I have been fortunate to have worked with the best in England and Canada. Horses have so much to teach us!
 
My mother was born in Nova Scotia and I've always wanted to see it.

When I was quite young my horse poems sometimes had a clear meter ... more recent ones have been mostly in free verse ... riding can be about rhythm; horses love being free.
 
At this time of year, Nova Scotia is a beautiful place to visit and the people could not be more friendly, especially those with horses. I also administer The Atlantic Nurse Mare & Colostrum Registry/Group. Keep writing your poems our horses deserve to be acknowledged for all that they give us.

Wow amazing. You never stop learning with horses that's for sure and anyone who says they know it all imho knows nothing.
