Hiya,

Just wondered if anyone uses this aid to help with riding or lunging? My friend keeps raving about them, but I cant really see the point of it..
So any good or bad feedback will be appreciated, Id like to know if theres any point to using one of these?

I can't see the pictures clear enough to even see how it works

I take it the lunging version is similar to a Pessoa?

I thought that, it doesnt really give you a clear image of what the aid is doing.. Thats what also puts me off about them

I looked at these...
From what I can gather it is Vienna reins on the front half and a separate breeching stap that is supposed to activate the hindquarters.
Didn't buy one in the end as I thought it was an expensive way of finding out, but tend to use a chambon with an elastic bandage or bungee around the quarters - it does more or less the same job!

Shame the pics weren't bigger. The lungeing aid looked like a Pessoa and the riding aid looked like a De Gogue to me!
