Has anyone had any experience of using Equi Med Stable Boots to fight off the dreaded mud fever?
Our paddocks have already become really muddy & we have the first signs of Mud Fever already starting to show. Last year we tried absolutely everything to treat it & on one occasion ended up with Lymphangitis. We have four white socks but it appears to only be the hind legs that get affected.
We've used all manor of lotions & potions including the cream supplied after one of many vet visits. We are keen to try and keep it away and would appreciate views on how effective these boots are.

I've used them, with success, when my horse couldn't shift his mud fever, even after two lots of antibiotics etc. It noticeable improved within a few days & was gone within 10 days.

Thank you for replying. Thats great news we had terrible problems last year & I'm keen to avoid a repeat performance. Looks like I might be making a investment fairly shortly.

The equi med ag boots?i bought some two years ago for awful mud fever, worked very well and am contemplating buying another pair for the hinds.
