Equi-N-icE - leg cooling?

Hello there, not sure if this is more appropriate for Stable Yard or Competition bit, so I'll put in both. Hope that's ok.

Just looking for reviews on this product range - (watch out the computer talks!)

I am looking for a leg coolant mainly for competitions, where I don't have a running hose or access to ice. Any opinions or alternative suggestions?

I have got a few of those popping packs to try, would they be better?

i use these and i really like the idea of them,,,,, but it is a costly cooling system, i use cool boots on the front and these on the back, the first set of bandages i had were gr8 but when i used the recharger they didnt seem quite so good, dunno couldve been me not doing it correctly (foolproof really)!!

I use the Equi-n-ice quite a bit and find them good. As said before quite pricey to use, but so convenient.

I have used them and have been mildy impressed, as you say, the cost is the issue. For more everyday use the product I have used is IceTight poultice by Farnam http://shopping.erol.co.uk/product/IceTight-Poultice.html
