The poor woman got the most awful verbal beating on here from some posters whilst obviously under great distress herself when all she was trying to do was highlight what can happen and to warn us all. I bought equi ties the next day and if I have to tie up elsewhere on the yard where I am I split the twine to 3-4 tiny threads at most. I have seen other horses at our yard go down on concrete when twine didn't break and break headcollars at no doubt serious pressure to their polls/faces, also a cut lip with one that smacked the floor with its nose. Not worth it ever.
