The Izusu is also a narrower chassis cab then conventional lorries which is ideal for inner city use.

I recon you would be looking at £30k for a new 4x4 and trailer
say a shogun and £3k up for a trailer then no living quarters and only two horses !! payload on the equitrek should be good its a light chassis ,as a truck they will carry around a ton more than say a iveco I would prefer something built on a MAN or a merc, much more solidly built and a nice roomy cabs
the isuzu is tiny and has a narrow wheel track. found out eddie stobart is building horseboxs make a renault based 3.5 ton and are planning a 7.5 ton 3 horse called stratford horse boxes
