Equi-Trek Trailers?

i have one, the basic with the tack/changing room.
seeing as a new ifor is i think £3500, and the XL version about £5000 an equitrek at £5500 worked out nicely..tows like a dream, i can change in it, sleep in it!!and more space.
is slighlty bigger than an ifor widthways, but its wheels are underneath the chassis rather than sticking so you can get thru width restrictors..
seeing as i sold my adored corsa to afford it, im pretty attached to mine!
shame it looks like a big pikey white van tho :P

My friend has just got the Equitrek 5* and it's lush.I cannot believe how much room there is in it!.I would love one but cannot warrant the money for one!.

I would want there to be a rear unload ramp though as for hunting it's not practical to unload directly into the traffic when you're parked on a grass verge, and often at shows they want you to park on top of each other, so wouldn't be able to get the horse out!!

Other than that, I'd buy one if I had £5500 going spare!!

ive got an Equitrek Show Trekka and absolutely love it.

Tows like a dream and my horses love travelling in it.

Weve got the Show Trekka L which carries up to 2 17.3hhs and we have living which has basic stuff in but its perfect for what we want/need. It has hob, cupboards, storage and of course seating which can be changed into bunks.

Was quite expensive at £8500

but its been worth it. We sold our wagon and didnt know which trailer to buy so got one that had living in as our wagon had living and would miss that part of a wagon. Also thought if we didnt like trailers we could flog it and get pretty much what we paid for it.
My friend told me the after sales were poor from Equitrek direct

which is where we bought ours from but it went in for its service last week and they have been brilliant. Lovely people especially Tom. Cant help us enough.

Would highly recommend buuying an Equitrek, and also they hold their value really well so if you sell it you hardly loose any money.

Hi,

I also have an Equi-Trek, the 4* model... I cannot fault it. It is easy to tow, the horses seem to like it (my mare travels very badly but seems much better in this) and it is brilliant when you're at a show because you have the living as well if you want it. Mine has a hob, sink and I had a plug fitted for a fridge, TV etc etc...

I bought mine second hand but would not hesitate to buy to new one or a different model if my needs changed.

I would love one, and hopefully will get one one day!

My problem is that the biggest one to carry by heavy boy, needs the biggest type of 4x4 to tow legally. I have a big car but that's nowhere near heavy enough, so for now I keep to my clapped out old wagon

I see Ellen Whittaker has one, and just thought I'd ask HHO for some feed back x

LMAO....I don't think she travels the international circuit in one though

Are you sure she isn't just advertising it for them

I've had a Sportstrekka for about 4 years and love it. The horses travel really well in it, it tows like a dream, the changing area is wonderful on a wet day and being white it tends to stay cool on a hot summer's day (remember them?).
