Equiami riding aid

After a huge search online for a riding aid this is the best I have found (from the reviews online) but figured to have it comfirmed on here wouldn't be such a bad idea!

Yes, it is the best training aid I have ever used. I used to love the pessoa, but now I have the equiami, I never use it any more. All horses I have tried it on go really well in it and don't appear to resent it in any way. It also allows them to bend correctly around the circle. You don't have to shorten one side to achieve this.

Can't help in regards to the Equiami Riding Aid, but the lunge aid is brilliant the difference in my horse I am very impressed with so far so would imagine the riding aid would be good, but as I said never used one.

Ah, yes, I have just spotted she was asking about the riding aid. I've not tried it either. Just the lunge aid.

Well unfortunately I cannot lunge my mare due to leg problems and have been scouring the net for ages trying to find something which I am able to use whilst riding that isn't going to be dangerous for either me or her!
I will mainly be hacking as our school is a bit deep in the summer (again, leg problems mean only a nice firm surface) and reading the reviews its sounds perfect! She is so close to working correctly herself but we just can't seem to crack it as she is a typical giraffe and much prefers to drag her back end along taking in the sights! I think she just needs a little help to get what we are working towards without me constantly nagging her. Apart from the fact working from her back end properly will take the pressure off of her fronts where the problems are.

I know the lunge aid has so many good reviews and that has made me think that the riding aid will also be a good bit of equipment!

Megibo, that's for the reply! Do you have anything you recommend for riding that does work for you?
At £45 for the equiami, I am wanting all suggestions before digging into my pocket :)

I once used an abbot davies a couple times a week when schooling with great success, but the makers seem to have vanished off the internet. :(

I got it with the lunging aid. Didn't find it wonderful, but didn't persist.

I found that the work done on the lunge carried through into ridden work and made far more difference than the few times I tried the riding aid.

Thanks bluewhippet, unfortunately as I say I can't lunge my mare so just looking for something that will help a bit ridden.

Bungee rien cheap and does the job I always attach to a leather boot lace round girth that will give in emergency .
You can also cut them in half at the loop at rubber thing that you pull upand down so it's in two bits just in case.
