I am very tempted by the no fill Equimac version for the warmer weather.

I was plenty warm enough this morning in my S lite in the snow with layers underneath. Minus the gloves (and the JRT), this is how I was attired in Sainsbury’s yesterday, walking boots, baseball cap and all 🤣. It's not too tent like.

I only wear the lite when it’s below 5 or raining and windy. So wondering if no full version also useful. Though maybe other coats I already own fill that void.

I guess days of heavy rain and warm might be useful.

I do have 2 pairs waterproof riding over trousers, kipwarm waterproof breeches, rain legs etc 😂😂

TP you look much more elegant in yours than I do mine. Mine's much bigger and bulkier on me, I probably should have gone down at least a size, but I still love it.

I use it constantly during winter and you can nip out in the freezing cold or rain and still not get soaked or covered in hay/ hair/ slobber/ mud.

I really like the look of them, and tried my friends one on over winter and it was gorgeous - but I just cannot bring myself to part with the money for it to look nice for a whole minute before it gets covered in mud and stinks of horse pee 🤣

I bought the much cheaper Regatta version and it has been fabulous these last couple of days.

You just hose the mud off and it doesn't absorb the smell of horse pee. They really are thoroughly practical.

I like the thought of them but I hate coats in general I'm a layer up body warmer type person I find coats so restrictive, most days after 5 minutes outside the coat is off while I'm doing stuff I agree I do get cold standing around but I manage, I tend to wear thermal leggings under my jeans and any riding leg wear and I don't ride in heave rain.
