Has anyone used this product and does it work. One of the owners on the Yard has bought it for her horse who gets wound up in the Ring at shows but is relaxed at home. Have read the bumph but cant work out how only giving a product for 5 days and then 2 days off makes any sense. Wouldnt giving the product daily mean that the levels in the blood stream would be constant?

We use Equifeast WINNINGEDGE Silver that works on the 5/2 day regimed it really works. All I can say is speak to Malcom there, he put it all together and he will happily explain the 'science' in simple terms.

It does work, both our mares are on it - one 17 year old and one 6 year old and it has had a great effect on them. :)

I use it on my mare in Spring and it does seem to work on her. I have also given it to my gelding a couple of times without 'loading' it as recommended. The apparent reason for the 'two days off' is because many of the nutrients are stored in the body so the balance should be maintained. It would make sense for the two off days not to coincide with showing days. Its also ok to split the days rather than have 2 consecutive days off.

My horses can't stand the taste so has to be well disguised with extra speedibeet !
