Does anybody use this and if so are you getting good results?

Alternatively does anyone use cool, calm & collected alongside their normal balancer?

Thank you

Hi, I am working with a young horse who has recently been broken, which has proved to be a real ordeal. He is extremely sharp, very flighty, running on adrenalin and almost bordering dangerous. We tried a variety of calmers, absolutely no effect because he is adrenalin fuelled. He has been on Safe & Sound, Calm and Collected, no food - ridden off grass, and it made zero difference. We were recommended Equifeast and the difference in this little horse over a 3 month period is immense. The service from Equifeast is outstanding. They treat each animal as an individual and prescribe accordingly. Our chap is now working with purpose, much better concentration and far more safely. He occasionally has a spook/shoot but it is now far more rideable and controllable. We only said yesterday, for the amount it costs to feed him this supplement we can afford to keep him on it for as long as it takes. Do we want to try to see what happens if we take him off it? Absolutely no. Highly recommend, we are immensely pleased and impressed. Good luck!

Thank you for your reply justturnedfifty, it's good to hear positive experiences about it because I'm pretty sure it's what one of mine needs but I'm not sure which product to use.

EquiFeast have suggested I use Sensible Essentials and discontinue my usual balancer but I'm unsure about doing away with the protein content of my balancer plus the pro/prebiotics it contains so I don't know whether just to use C,C&C alongside the TopSpec.

Which product do you use? If it's Sensible Essentials do you feed any other supplements alongside?

I have recently put my youngster on Equifeast C, C and C and have started to see a difference already.

I may be wrong but looking at their website is the Sensible essentials just a combination of C, C and C and their hoof supplement? Therefore unless you need the nutritional support for hoof, the C, C and C should do the job, allowing you to keep him on the same balancer.

If in doubt you contact Equifeast, they are very helpful.

That's what I thought Sidney but it's what they recommended for mine - I sent an email tonight with a huge list of questions so I'll see what they say tomorrow.

Glad to hear you're also having good results, I think I'll definitely try it.

Hello again,

We followed Equifeast's complete recommendations, and took our youngster off his other supplement because it contained magnesium, and in order for Equifeast to work correctly the guys at Equifeast will ask you 101 questions and give you a lot of recommendations including what feeds you use and supplements. This horse belongs to a friend, hence I am not 100% sure what we are using but it really is working - thank goodness! He is potentially a very talented youngster and the amount of progress we have made over the last couple of months is immense. Go for it because I have every confidence it will work.

I have had my warmblood dressage horse on c,c and c for about 5 weeks now and have seen a huge change in his ridden behaviour and work. Previous to starting it, he was sharp, spooky and explosive. He is now level headed, and his concentration is so much better, and his spooking is a minimum, and much more controllable when it does happen. He can cope in testing situations a lot better and not get upset when a lot is going on around him. I would highly recommend giving it a try.

Hi I use the cool, calm and collected magnessium free alongside my normal balancer. This stuff has been a god send to me, I have a completely different horse. As he used to be a stallion and is stabled next to a mare I have recently added two teaspoons of their magnessium powder to the powder. This stuff really works but you have to be rigid on the 5 week loading dose, and do not cut corners or cut it short. The best thing that I did was use this. I had tried just about every other calmer and nothing worked liked this one. It can seem pricey on the loading dose, but after that, its no dearer than any other calmer out there. Staff at equifeast are brillant they are their to give advice, use them, they want to know and help whether things are good or bad. Cant recommend this stuff enough.
