This is great. I just use the free version to track rides. However it is picking up trot and canter when I know we have been walking. Any idea to make it more sensitive? It correctly picks up when we do trot and canter. I’m impressed however how well it tracks route.

I use the free version for schooling and I’ve not had that problem. The only problem I have is that we have some very tall trees next to the paddock where I school. Occasionally it records that I have been in my neighbours garden ?

I had that problem with, can't remember now which gaits it mixed up but it was consistent and it happened whichever pocket i tried it in. I gave up in the end as i have lots of other apps i can use for tracking hacks and extra info didn't work.

I’ve found it to be really accurate and I only use the free version. OP, do you have it in your jacket pocket or jods?
I tried mine in jod pocket front, jod pocket back, jod pocket leg, jacket pocket inside breast and jacket side pockets left and right. It was absolutely consistent but wrong.

This was yesterday’s ride. The canter on the far right was walking out of the yard. He was being “enthusiastic “ so perhaps canter movement?? Also it had us cantering down the steepest part of hill. Again perhaps he was being more bouncy? Phone in jacket pocket.

I find it pretty accurate. It will occasionally record a short canter if she has got her bouncy walk on.
I used to keep it in my hi vis gilet pocket, but it did get some things wrong. I now put it in the top of my boot and it's pretty much spot on. I think it's better with less movement.
The GPS can occasionally be out by a few metres, but I love it.

I’ve just got it, found it to be quite good. I think it probably needs to be kept in quite a fixed position so it isn’t bouncing around too much. For schooling yesterday, I had it in a running belt around my waist. The output seemed to more or less match what we did.

Mines been really accurate for everything apart from the transitions. The transitions were a fairly new addition to my version so I think I've just assumed that they'll refine it. I'm really enjoying it and find it helpful and the transitions don't bother me too much.
