Hello there !

I used to feed my horses this brand of haylage until I started fing lumps of wood and stones in it. I did buy one bale and it was mouldy, there wasn't a hole in the bag neither.

I returned it back to Farmways where I bought it from and the guy who works there said that other people have been finding the same aswell as gun cartridges.

He said that a they are no longer buying Equilage they are changing the order to Silvermoor which I have had no probs with.

But yes blue one is low energy.

Good luck with it.

My local feed merchant has started to stock this as an alternative to Horsehage.

I tried a couple of bales but found that there was only as much per bale and in Horsehage (because they were more loosely packed) and the quality was not as good, so I'm now back to Horsehage.

I would feed from a small holed haynet if possible as they will much through it much quicker than hay!
