I hired a handheld machine from Equi-laser in the summer for three weeks to use on my horse's damaged DDFT. Maybe if I'd used it for a longer period it might have made a difference, but I couldn't afford to actually buy a laser and was assured that three weeks ought to produce some sort of healing. It didn't. But I guess every form of therapy works for someone.

Scans, before and after. There was never much swelling and no lameness except for the first 4 days after the injury. But he was scanned two weeks after I finished with the laser and there was no change compared with the initial scan. So we went into box rest ...
