equilibra 500??

Ive used it over the winter on my 38 year old. It was recommended by my vet as she has an oldie herself. Snow started the winter without much condition and it really has helped her gain weight, she looks much better now than she did in September!

I have used it on and off over many years on various horses with good results.

I used it last summer on my two 4 year olds and it really put muscle on them but not fat which is what I wanted. It also worked very well on my elderly TBs.

Will be putting my two back on it shortly for a a few months to boost them into showring condition.

My horse has been on it for over a year and everyone always comments how fab she looks. My physio was out the other day and commented that she had not seen a horse looking so well - correct muscles, topline etc for a long time

I've never heard of Equilibra 500

Is it a feed or a supplement?

Does it send horses loopy? How much does it cost and what quantities do you feed?

Sorry for so many questions but it sounds like it might be great for my TB!

It's a balancer by Growell. My horse is loopy and it's fine on her. It costs about £23/ bag lasts mine 1 month and fed 2.25 mugs per day with Healthy hoof and sugar beet - that;s all

I use this for my stressy arab mare.

I have found that she has more 'bloom' to her coat on this than she did when on TopSpec but I am still struggling to keep weight on her - however she is the sort where one 'bad' day spent galloping round the field turns her in to a hat rack!

I feed it alongside fibre-beet and have just added Cool Stance Copra meal as well, roll on spring grass to fatten her up!
