One of the horses I’m doing at the moment has one. I’m not overly impressed to be honest, how much are they?
I think there are far nicer/better fly rugs out there.

Its £50 at hope valley but £95 upwards everywhere else .

The worst fitting rug I have is the gallop one, its got such a thick neck on it, never fitting a normal 6’6 horse at all, its bad fitting at the shoulders and is causing a rub 😑
We do have the silver sweet itch one too but I like him to have clean fresh rugs lol so need one to switch between

Same! Can never have too many 😂
Have they still got the Amigo with ear holes on offer at Hope Valley? I’ve not looked in ages but I bought 3 of them and they are great!
I’ll have a look and get a link if so

No they don’t have them anymore sadly!
The equilibrium one does seem to fit quite nicely, and the ear holes keep the neck in place. I’d definitely not pay £95 for it but you may be happy with £50 especially if you’re alternating between a couple.

I have 2. One is the original style from when they first came out and has the surcingle front fastenings, I normally stay away from them with mine but I liked everything else about the rug. It came up big but fitted really nicely and did the job, material has taken a battering from other horses as rips easily but has never rubbed, keeps the flies off and stops her itching and the neck is nice and long even when she has her head down.
I liked if so much I bought another so I can use the older one as a spare and wash it more regularly, they changed the front to buckles and the fit is not nearly as good, tighter round the shoulders on mine and not as long in the back and the belly flap doesn't seem as big. This might actually be better for some but I will be using the newer one as a spare.
I use that and a horseware one throughout the summer, changing depending on the weather. The horseware has held up better and i use with a waterproof liner but doesnt cover as well and not as good for midges and horsefly's.

Thank you, ive ordered it, ive ordered a 6’6 so I hope its not too big 😣 this gallop rug is the poorest fitting rug I have ever had!

The neck could fit two in, shoulders tiny, the belly flap if put on correctly would cover his winky and so he would pee inside the flap 🫣 absolutely rubbish
