My mare injured herself a few months ago in her pelvis area and is slightly lame and stiff on one of her hind legs.Iv thought about investing in a equilibrium pad.Would it help at all?? or am i just wasting money..she's on blue chip dynamic

paulineh-yes iv had 2 vets out to see her and both cant work out what the problem is.iv had an equine touch woman out 3 times to treat her and all she said was it could be muscle damage.as a last resort id though id give the massage pad a go but wanted to know if it would be of any benefit to her.obviously from the replies it would

I've got one and I really rate it as part of an overall work and care programme to keep him in tip top condition so would def invest in one. However, if there is possible muscle damage I'd get a good physio to treat first :)

Interested as we saw one today - what about on a horse recovering from Kissing Spine? friends horse is on a programme (though before anyone states the obvious - if it was recommended, she would still run it past her vet!)
