Equilibrium massage pad on a damp horse?

Is it possible to use an Equilibrium massage pad on a damp horse? Would like to use in the lorry to/ from competitions (30mins journey time) but he will either have been bathed before traveling there or sponged off on way back. Would plan to put the pad on his back under his rug. Thanks.

Ive wondered about this. You could contact the manufacturers? I've got this notion that water plus electrics = combustible horse so I haven't done it ! They get warm underneath it and with water conducting heat it might get uncomfortable! I'd pro avoid the back area so that i could put the pad on.

The instructions say not to use in damp conditions. I would advise against it.

If damp shorts out the electrics you will be left with a very expensive plastic back pad.

Thanks Tiddlypom. Don't have one yet but musing about getting one. They look great sure my horses would love it this is one I might have to keep secret from OH!
