Oooo check out the Mark Todd Accupressure numnah...I bought one in desperation as I had soft swellings in my treed saddle after back was damaged by treeless saddle...yes I did say a treeless saddle. I had a lesson on saturday in it...no swellings and wenet to a show all day yesterday...still no swellings...it really does do what it says.
I've got one and am a fan. Definately help loosen the big grey one through the back before I ride and help keep the babys muscles nice and soft. One of my liveries borrowed it and used it on her mare before competing her and said it cut her warm up time in half as she come into the warm-up so much softer through the back.
Don't expect results overnight, but if you regularly use it I'm sure you'll notice a difference
I try and use it most days on the big lad - but especially those days when I'm going to be asking a bit more from him. It's not that he's particularly tense, but he does tend to "hold" himslef a bit through the back.
I should really use it more on the baby, and will once his work levels increase.
Most horses seem to really enjoy the sensation and find it relaxing.
If it all fails and it doesn't work, you can always eBay it as there seems to be a 6 week waiting list for them
I thought about getting one for snoop.
Def a million times cheaper than the equissage which both my boys adore and its worked for.
Just not sure i can justify the money atm, but it might be something to think about later in the year.
I have use of one as a friend bought it and her horse doesn't like it so I borrow it. I think for the money compared to a equissage it's good. Charm loves it and it def makes her more supple when I get on to ride her.
I'm going to get one at some stage
