Has anyone got one of these? I am thinking of getting one for my horse who is a headshaker but they are bl**dy expensive for what they are! Do you need the special noseband bit? Couldn't you just cut the nose part off a standard fly mask and sellotape it to the horses noseband? (Sorry I am very DIY!) Any oppinions on them, are they worth the money?

yes well worth the money you get the noseband attachment with three nets i use mine every day and the bag of three last me a good year.
The last pack i bought over a year ago and only used two.
My horse is a completely different horse with one on.

Ditto Orkan35 and furryears, they are absolutely worth the money. I wouldn't be able to ride in Summer if it wasn't for these.

If they work, I imagine they are worth the money.
I bought one for my pollen allergy headshaker and she hated it - it made her much worse.
So the nets have joined the vast array of 'Once Good Ideas' in my spare room.

made my boy rideable in all weather and they last for ages. Make sure you follow the instructions though, do not wash in warm water, it ruins them!
