Hey guys, thinking about splashing out on a set of these

nad wondered what your thoughts were on them? I like the idea but dont want to spend all that money if they dont actually do what it says on the tin! Also - white or black? Horsey is black so thought white would be nice BUT have to go through pretty muddy bit of field to get to school and school is sand and rubber so figure boots wouldnt stay white for long. Help please!!

Is it the Training wraps or flatwork wraps?

I brought a pair of white Flat work wraps a couple of years ago and made the mistake of hacking out in them - they have never been white since. They did look smart though and seem to keep the legs cool.

I have now brought a set of the Training Wraps in black (which are double the price

)but look really smart on! I haven't used them yet as I am waiting till I have use of a school but I am sure they will be great.

I have just put my white ones on eBay for 0.99p if you wanted to try before you buy a smart set.

Hiya, just the flatwork wraps - reckon my bank balance would faint if i presented it with two sets of the training wraps lol! However....... it may just stretch to ebay..... *strolls off innocently*.......

Yes I think they do, mine are a wishy washy gray colour now - not attractive at all! (if you used them in a school they would probably be OK though!)

I have 4 sets of the schooling boots and agree they dont offer much in the way of protection, but I only use them for lessons really. I had white ones which turned yellow from the sand so now have black ones. They are very soft and the gel offers a bit of protection I suppose.

I also have brushing boots from Premier Equine which are very similar except they have a strike pad similar to the Woof Wear ones. I prefer these, and I think they were only about £10 when I got them, although I dont think they actually sell them anymore which is a shame.

For bog standard brushing boots, the Woof Wear ones are really good. I also have Mark Todd and Sportabac ones which are very similar but I think they were more expensive (the WW are about £17 I think).
