-Now following on from another post where a poster ties her stirrups to her girth to keep her leg in position i have come across these.. although i wouldnt follow the above footsteps i do have an issue with my lower leg and wondered if anyone has ever used these or indeed any other form of training straps?!
 
I've tried using Peacock safety stirrups and tying them to the girth with string around where they hang naturally.

It feels WELL WEIRD riding like that and long term hasn't really helped my every swinging moving legs!
 
The only thing is that you come to rely on them.
Not quite the same but when we play horseball you have a strap that connects your stirrups to each other (think thick stirrup leather connecting the two going through martingale loop at girth so it cant slip back), but after playing and training in these, its then very odd when you take it off, I would be wary of these as I cant see how long term it would help.
