Just wondered if anyone had any experience of the above? Am looking at whether it may be beneficial for my boy who has intermittant problems with a sore back (he is receiving physio before anyone shouts at me

)? Obviously a lot cheaper than the equissage so would be interested in any comments, good or bad!
Thanks

BRILLIANT!!! Well worth the money but you have to be religious about putting it on the horse to reap the benefits. I was told that the best way to use is 15 minutes before work on medium setting and then 15 minutes after work on low, then when the horse has a day off use for 30 minutes on high. Used mine for 10 weeks then went to dressage and for the first time ever we got an 8 for our paces - we normally only get a 6, occassionally a 7 - and this was by a judge that has judged us before.

Having worked for equissage i would never recomend that anyone ever purchase that stupid bit of kit. it does jack [****] for your horse and is waaaay overpriced, the equissage units them selves cost the company maximum of £300 a set to make, and the mark up is stupid, as well as having the worst customer care on record. The equilibrium pad is well priced, and does the same job, and is perfect for stiff horses or those that need something prior to tacking up due to being cold backed etc. with all massage systems to get full use you need to use them at least once a day, and then you will see an improvement, esp in something thats often stiff.

Lots of threads in here and stable yard about the pad. Most people will agree it is excellent value for money and most can tell a difference in their horse's way of going.

It is not loud and heavy like the equissage - my stable neighbour has one and I can hear it on the other side of the barn, whereas my equilibrium pad is so quiet so good for sensitive horses.

I love the pad, when my yearling was very ill with various problems, i used the pad on him everyday as one of the problems was 2 traumas to his back, he loved standing there with the pad on (was a bit big for him) but it really helped with the stiffness.

They are fab, I use mine in a very similar way to gummy bear.

My mare has been having a chiro every two weeks for vairous problems inc tightness through withers, wonky pelvis, stiff neck and sore rib joints. The only thing she really struggled to sort (the rib joints) the pad did!

I just bought one recently and the best price I could find was from an ebay shop called prequestrian. Prompt service as well.
