Does anyone use these?

Have been doing a bit of reading into legs/injuries etc and finally decided I dont like the thought of using standard brushing boots to school in, as they really do heat the legs up. I dont want any support, and know bandages dont really do this anyway, no matter what is said. Justwant protection from knocks and scrapes without over heating the tendons and ligaments.

Saw these and thought they sounded fab! Anyone have any thoughts?

oh ok... i was recommended them by my tack shop for a horse that needed support... glad i didn't get them in the end then! in fact, it may have been the wraps i was recommended. the ones that go under the fetlock. i can't even remember now...

they look nice, which i think is important!

I love these. My horse who has a tendon injury has the straps under the fetlock and the ones without a strap on his uninjured forelegs. I have even turned him out in these when he was introduced back into the herd.

They provide support and are flexible, but not so much that the horse cant do without them.

Wraps are lovely boots and I would recommend. The bandages are not so good and I would say don't bother. They seem to get the legs hotter than the wraps and because they are elasticated it is an art to put them on so that you do not get lines when you take them off. They look odd and bulky once on too - very disappointing as I like most the equilibrium range of products.

Interested in the replies to this as i currently use training wraps on the fronts and the standard brushing boots behind but have been looking at the bandages.

I find the wraps invaluable and well worth their money and use them for everyday stuff to showjumping.

I did look at the bandages but i thought they looked a little bulky. On the plus side they are makred in the centre so you know which one goes on which leg so all the tapes face the correct way and they come in different legs so you have just the correct amount.

anyone else got any views on the bandages versus the wraps?

Haven't used them myself, I use Eskadron Climatex Bandages and really rate them. Beaus legs are never hot after using them. I imagine they do the same thing as the Equilibruim Bandages tho.

The bandages are fab. Yes there is an art to putting them on but in my view they offer more support than the wraps plus there is no risk of things getting under the bandages and rubbing as there is with a wrap. I have always found it more difficult to get the wrap to give support equal to that given by the bandage.

Hope this helps.
