Thinking of trying this product but it is very expensive anyone on here tried this for upper pulmonary conditions, snorting sensitivity, mild headshaking with success?
Yes, I tried it (tried everything going) for my pony who suffers with lower respiritory problems. Could not get him to eat it and this is a pony who will normally eat anything, Cost about £80, complete waste of time and money.
Snorting/headshaking won't be a respiratory problem. Nor sure if your horse has other respiratory problems, not sure what you mean by upper pulmonary condition? Pulmo Ease falls in the category of non-medical products aimed at helping chronic breathing problems of the type associated with hay and dust allergies. Beware though because they aren't medical products and if you read the fine print will only provide antioxidants to boost your horse's immune system and it's highly likely he's already getting adequate antioxidants and his immune system is fine. Excellent veterinary article on supplements such as this in this month's Horse.
Thanks they are sending me a sample and some more detailed information. I am aware about anti oxidants/minerals for horses but was thinking that maybe as Robert Eustace MRCVS is behind this product it may be more beneficial and especially as he is advertizing it as helping sneezy, snorting and headshaking type conditions! http://www.equilife.co.uk/PulmoEase.htm
