Has anyone used equimat matting? Looks easier to lift and clean underneath, also what bedding do you use with it? Am looking at replacing my heavy sheets with the equimat matting.

Equimats are fab
I love em. I've had my original 1's for about 12 years now, though admitidley (SP?) the original ones have got a little thin near the doorway. But they are so easy to lift its a one person job. You can feel the difference when you walk on them in comparison to the heavy black rubber ones. They are much softer so the horses must feel that benifit too.
I use them with a reduced amount of bedding as I don't like stinky rugs but you can use any bedding with them. In the past I've used straw but currently am using shavings with them all.

Thanks, think i will stick with straw as my mare is so dirty she will cost me a fortune in shavings! New matting is coming tomorrow
