I have to say I was convinced my pony wouldn't eat them as he is normally Mr suspicious but he ate all four tablets without batting an eyelid :-)

So much easier to do it this way :-)

I love the tablets! They are very difficult to get here (Ireland) as many people have failed to get their horses to eat them: I just stick them in a 1/4 of apple or hollowed out carrot & they will all take them - no worming dramas!

I like them because they are easy to divide up too - I have three big horses in residence who take over a syringe of the alternatives, it is easy to share four or five tubes between them

I've had no problem getting them (TRI stock them). They're fantastic, have only used them once so far, my gelding ate them happily and wanted more, and a tube does two worm doses for him, so it works out far more economical than buying a syringe and having to chuck the extra.

If I don't alternate them with a few Extra Strong Mints they get spat out! BUT they are the only ones I can get down one filly, the rest taking tubes. This causes the problem of using a different wormer, rather the same one all the time.

Aha! That's good to know, thanks Ailbheg.

I tried the apple and carrots plus giving them a bit of a extra sugary treat but nope they got picked out, my lot aren't fussy so it did surprise me.
