Equimax Tabs - anyone used them????

Yes. 2 shetlands took them no bother. The 2 horses spat them out. So bashed them up with polos and put them in their feed and they scoffed the lot

Hi - Rep gave me placebo samples to try at my yard.....offered them to 5 horses , but only one would eat them, even my WB refused to try them !!

We got a couple of placebos at the show in Exeter. Both ours took them, my lad was less fussy than the OH's mare, but they both went.

Bashed up in their feed is a really good idea.

Bought them for the two big lads - both love their treats, but spat the tabs out. Hid them in carrots and they still spat them out. Will be using ordinary paste next time.

If you have to bash them up and add to feed, doesn't that defeat the object !! They might take one off your hand but dose could be more than 1 tab depending on size of horse. Sorry I have yet to be convinced by them.

Yes I used them on all 3 of mine (the real thing, not the placebo's). No problem at all and one of my horses is MASSIVELY suspicious. I popped them in a scoop with a little bit of their mix and they just munched them up. I will definitely use again - such a nice way of worming!

my lot just ate them and then looked for more.

Our yard we have two horses that are really difficult to worm. The 12hh ate all hers as treats, gready litte thing. The more cautious one wouldn't east them as treats, but crushed in a feed scoffed them
