Oh bless your generous heart ester - I am sure you have many things to do other than faddle about for idiots like me but if there is a way of looking at what is available now I would be really grateful. Indebted in fact!! :) :) No panic and I will keep staring at the figures I have to see if inspiration strikes too :) :)

I just don't want to do it twice with old info, and now I know which ones you are looking at I can include them.
'Productive distraction' is never a bad thing ;). I did just go ah, shit I know I said it was a while ago but 6 years is :p)

Sound like a mag ox addition to the equimins is worth it - strange that it's the one so much lower than FP

I had mine on mag ox from red horse and I'll carry on using it with the pellets

OOh this is all very helpful and interesting. I have a barefoot cob who's been on Top Spec since I bought him over from Ireland, 3 years ago.
I have just switched to Equimins advance. Should I feed Magnesium and/or zinc/copper? If so how much?

Also should I feed extra Biotin for hoof growth and/or micronised linseed? Horse does approx 3 hacks, one long, 2 shorter plus a 45 min lesson a week, I currently just feed Fast Fibre with the Equimins plus a few token Baileys fibre nuggets.

For a cob I would err on the side of adding magnesium.
Linseed, does depend a little on condition as you want it for the good bits, not for weight addition but I do like to feed a bit, even if its just half a mug a day.
