Abstract is probably the wrong word. But expressive/creative - not like a replica photo. Or I’d just print the photo into canvas - which is plan B. But if it’s artwork not photography then it needs to look like art not photography iyswim.

If this is Madeleine you're referring to I'd definitely have a chat to her, she's very approachable. This was the last painting she did for us, it's captured him perfectly and was definitely in your budget. Her horses are equally as good! Excuse the reflections on my phooto!
