hello, i was just wondering if anyone out there knew anything about equine assisted psychotherapist? i am a trainee counsellor who also owns her own horse with over 30 years of experience in the equine world. ta, sara.

I don't know anything about this, but if you find anything out can you PM me as I would be interested. I work with adults with mental health problems and have even longer experience of horses than you

You can try EAGALA or we offer courses in Equine Facilitated Learning here at our centre. We specialise in kids with special needs but can train you in our methods regardless of who you choose to work with. We are not psychotherapsits - but your previous counselling qualification is useful. We were trained by Sierra Ohrel - a student of Barbara Rector - search her on the net! PM me if you are interested.
