Hi all,
Please do feel free to move/delete if this is not an appropriate place to post.
I am a second year Trainee Clinical Psychologist, completing my doctorate at the University of Hertfordshire. My research is based upon exploring Equine Assisted Therapies as an intervention for females with an autism spectrum condition. It is hoped that this study will allow us to have a greater understanding of this type of intervention.
To participate in the research you must
- Be female and aged between 11-18.
- Have a diagnosis of ASC.
- Be currently undergoing/or have previously experienced Equine Assisted Therapy.
Participation will involve a confidential interview about your experiences of Equine Assisted Therapy. This can take place at a location that is convenient to you, such as your home or another confidential area. If you and/or your child are interested in participating or have any questions, please either PM me, or email me at kw16abl@herts.ac.uk.
This study has been reviewed by the University of Hertfordshire Health, Science, Engineering and Technology Ethics Committee with Delegated Authority (protocol number: LMS/PGR/UH/03289 (1))
Many thanks,
Kate
