Equine chiropractor/ physiotherapist near leics/ melton mowbray??

Was just wondering if anyone could recommend someone or tell us who to avoid? We have had "Kate Cox nee Lord" before and she seemed pretty good but another physio said she had an accident? and she isnt answering her phone.
Also found "Rachel Hodson" has anyone had her before?

Also, is £40 pretty normal price for a physio check up or on the expensive side?

Have a look at www.irvap.org.uk and www.acpat.org and they list qualified physio's in your area. I am a qualified vet physio and I charge £40 plus travel.

Etti Cook is fantastic. Google Elite Physiotherapy Etti - and you will find her site. She fixed my back as well as my horse's!

Kate Lord is practising again, I think, but she was in the crash in South Africa in which some students from Brooksby lost their lives. If she is back up to fitness then she has made a great recovery. I have seen her do a PC demo and was ver impressed with her as well.

Hi,

Try looking on the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association website (ivca.de). They are all qualified vets and human chiropractors who have then done post graduate training for the horses. You may be able to find one near you.
