equine courses/colleges near bristol and home study course

i would really like to return to college, to do hnd equine management as due to personal reasons i had to leave the corse a few years ago, but i cant find anywhere near bristol. is there any colleges i'm missing

has anyone done a home study course?

The closest would be Weston College (their horse courses are run at Badgworth Arena). Here is their list of equine courses:

Failing that, it would be Hartpury.

I did a ND at Filton College this was about 7 years ago and they were thinking of doing a HND then so might be worth giving them a call?

Filton no longer do horse courses, they used to have their horses at Horse World in Whitchurch, but then withdrew as it was not economically viable. I'd say Hartpury would be your best bet , or Lackham in Wiltshire or Bicton in Devon.

You could do it through distance learning if you google 'TOCES' which is the Open College of Equine Studies (if memory serves).

thanks lackham have stopped going equine as well thats where i did my nd

am going to look at home study as can do HND from home although it seems expensive.

have been told at hartbury you have yard duties before and after lectures, which would be very difficult for me i have a 13month old baby an need to carry on working eves
