Can anyone recommend a good dentist in the North York area.

Jon Taylor is good - hes based in Wakefield and I dont know how far he travels but might be worth a try.

Paul Iansson is very good, and if they don't need any work he only charges a callout which I think was about £5 and not a full fee like some others.

Martin Brookes is excellant, he also doesn't charge if no work needed, he's based in Barnsley, not sure if he would travel, but you could always ring and see.

i had Sally once as i thought my horses might need sedating so worked out cheaper than paying for a dentist and then a vet. Found her very good with all my horses - she managed to do the 2 that normally needed sedation without it, they just seemed to behave for her. can recommend her.
Martin is great and doesnt live too far away from me. As previously mentioned he dpesnt charge if theres nothing to do. Everytime hes come to do my horses teeth hes made a big thing about playing with my youngster so shes not scared of the rasps etc, hes very good with the horses but unfortunately is away for the next week or so, but youll be able to get hold of his OH if you want to book an appointment
