it should be £35+, because done properly it takes about 40+ minutes. i used to be happy with people (including my vet) doing it in 15 mins... a week after a vet had done my best horse, there happened to be an Equine Dentist at the yard i visited with her. he had a look as a precaution, even though i was sure they were perfect... well, i cut myself on the edge of one, once he'd put the gag on and let me have a feel. i now never trust anyone who doesn't take the full 45 mins and let me feel how smooth they are at the end.
i feel very very guilty that i worked my horses for years thinking their teeth had been done properly, when they weren't.
£40 per horse, but he comes from miles and miles away and spends a long time with the horses, he's american trained so probably a bit more experienced than most dentists and he is into his herbal remedie things
It only cost me £30 including call out (10 miles away) to have the EDT come out for just one horse. He only needed a little bit of work - smoothing off one hook and levelling off in general.
