Hope someone can help me. My horse has been barefoot for a while now and I have been using the cavallo hoof boots with pads. She is comfortable in these but they are a bit rigid. I need something that is a bit more flexible now for field work abd hopefully get her closer to working with no boots. I was considering the equine fusion hoof boot. However, her feet are slightly wider than long (137 mm wide and 135 mm long). Has anyone used these boots on a wider than long hoof? I am worried that they might twist.

Yes. I use them on my boy and his width is slightly more than length and I have not had any problems with twisting! I think it would only be a problem if the width was a lot more than the length!

Thanks, thats good to know. Do you know about the sizing, if they are small or large fitting or flexible on size? She is very slightly above the upper limit on the sizing on width but bang on the length. Wondering if I should go to the next size up or stay with the smaller size.....

I would speak to Liz at Hoof Bootique if you can do so quick (she's about to have a wee one!) as she will help you work out the best boot for you. you can hire before you buy too,

Sadly Equine Fusions came off my girlie s hooves even tho they never move on my trimmers Connie, but then so did Trails, Gloves, the list goes on. Now trying last option of Renegades failing which I will have to mend my old Boas which to date are the only boots that stay on her!

Thanks guys, I will send her a message. Unfortunately I have to buy them without trying as I am in Ireland and with postage prices it doesn't really work out to try before buying. So I would like to get it as close to possible as right!
