equine massage therapy

hi im looking for some information and advice on becoming an equine massage therapist. I am currently in my final year of uni studying sports therapy, after I finish my course I would like to become an equine massage therapist. I have been looking around on the internet about this, but alls I have done is get myself awfully confused. there is so many different courses, and qualifications you can do! so my question is what is the best course to do? thank you in advance for your help

Your best bet is to speak to your student advisors in college. They should be able to help.

I'm qualified, you want to look at doing a human massage course first, I did an ITEC one. For most equine courses this is a pre-requisite, and if you're lucky enough to find one that isn't, the skills you gain from treating people first is invaluable anyway and gives you a good starting point it's quite a long process to get there but definitely worth it.
