Hi everyone - has anyone heard of an equine neuro-muscular manipulation therapist called Sherie Vicary-Carter??

I am thinking of getting her to come out to look at my arthritic boy and wondered if anyone out there had experience of this treatment and whether you would recommend it???

My boy is sound but feels 'dis-united' behind (he has arthritis in both hocks). He is currently on hionate injections every 6 months and daily supplements of Pernamax, Cider Vinegar and Corta-Vet powder which normally do the trick but at the moment he really isn't comfortable and I'm at my wits end! I've also considered McTimoney if anyone has experience of that??

You could try back on track hock boots for your boy. they have a ceramic melded into the fabric and reflect heat back into the body . This acts as a drug free pain relief. They also claim to prolong the effect of injections.

We have used them with success with a pony on the yard who is waiting to have injections into her hocks.

Feel free to PM me for any more info.

Thank you TayloredEquestrian! I am very interested in the hock boots - have looked at their UK website but they do not seem to have the hock boots on there? Where did you get them from??
