Equine Onesies??

Holly Hocks - I think you have made a valid point about a onesie but you yourself said 'in the house' which is the best and only place for a onesie in my opinion. My daughter and grandchildren have them but only wear them in the house.

As my ex says ' I have worn a onesie all my working life, it's just we used to call them boiler suits!'

Oh definitely only in the house - and definitely only when nobody is expected to call at the door! However I have seen a man shopping in Primark in Blackpool wearing a onesie......

I wear a onesie under my PJ's when sleeping in lorry at shows. Keeps my back warm. But going to toilet shall we say is interesting lol. Never put one on a horse but use lcyra hoods and body suits at work

If you see me out hacking just avert your eyes. Chesnut horse... black saddle... tan bridle... (evil laugh!).

So, if the hood on a horse onesie fitted "well" - who would use them? I still think they are as dangerous as a well-fitted lycra hood. And they look stupid as well of course.

I would put a well fitting onesie on my pony but a breathable stretchy fabric not a fleece one. I would feel happier if they finished at the poll and didnt cover the face though

I love my human onsie. It's sooo comfortable! I can't stand to see them worn out as clothes though. They're not clothes, they're house/sleep wear! Most normal people wouldn't wear their PJs out in town, so why a onsie?

That said, me and my friend did go and do the horses and the village shop in ours, but that was an essential outing to get chocolate for our movie day with Lord of the Rings and the 1st Hobbit.

Those of you who hate human onesies have clearly never worn one! I was of the same opinion until I was bought one for my birthday in November......the first words out of my mouth were "WTF is that? wouldn't be seen dead in that!"

I now spend quite a lot of my time in the house in my onesie.......in fact I'm wearing it now....don't knock it til you've tried it! LOL!!

As for horse onesies - er no.....

You are right in my case I've never tried one, and won't take the risk. I used to think that Uggs are ugly (still do if I am honest). But tried on a pair on a whim and ended up buying them, they were just so comfortable. The same might happen if I try on a onesie, so it's best I stay away from them completely.
